Iran sets up fun factory for children visiting holy shrine

Iran has launched an indoor playground for pilgrims’ children near the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) in the holy city of Mashhad.

The fun factory is located in the courtyard of the Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine for children accompanied by pilgrims.

The project has been warmly welcomed by such pilgrims as they have the chance to perform their pilgrimage without being concerned about their children in their company.  

“I can go about my pilgrimage with no hassle as I am sure my kid is in safe hands,” a pilgrim told media.      

An official with a research committee attached to the holy shrine said, “We did not just want our children to be entertained… our games are designed to implicitly teach ethics, Islamic law and social manners."
